Technical Product Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Product Development: Lead the end-to-end client’s product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with client’s business objectives and user needs.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your sound technical understanding of software development to suggest the client about the product decisions and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Client Engagement: Engage directly with clients to gather their product requirements, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Business Analytics: Leverage business analytics to identify market trends, evaluate product performance, and suggest data-driven decisions to the client.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, developers, and cross-functional teams, to ensure product alignment and success.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market gaps, and the competitive landscape, and present findings to clients to translate insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain product roadmaps, and support clients in prioritizing features and enhancements based on user feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality by working closely with QA teams to establish testing protocols and resolve issues promptly.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including specifications, user guides, and release notes, in coordination with the client.
  • Conflict Management: Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the product development process, ensuring smooth project progression and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management, with a focus on software development products.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in engaging directly with clients, gathering requirements, and providing updates.
  • Business Acumen: Proven experience in business analytics, market research, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of effectively managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving product success.
  • Product Development: Proven experience of managing a product throughout its lifecycle, detailed design, solution development, testing and deployment
